GALVESTON ISLAND HISTORIC PLEASURE PIER
ENTERTAINMENT / DESIGN BUILD
The Flagship Hotel was an iconic piece of seawall property, dating back to 1965. The 7 story hotel was severely damaged by Hurricane Ike in 2008, one of the Gulf Coast’s most tragic natural disasters. Under the direction of Landrys Inc., Big State Electric helped to revive the property into one of the featured attractions for Galveston Island. Now atop where the hotel used to sit is a state of the art amusement park complete with dining and retail facilities.
